Scientific Conference on Recent Advances in Geological Sciences 2021

1. Purpose

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Institute of Geology Sciences, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Scientific Workshop on Advances in Geological Research is held for exchange, discussion, and presentation of the latest research achievements in geology.

2. Scientific fields of the workshop

     - Geochemistry, mineralogy, and petrology

     - Tectonic – geodynamics

     - Geological hazards

     - Paleogeography, climate and environment

     - Apply artificial intelligence in geological research

3. Time and place

     - Time: One day in November 2021

     - Location: Institute of Geological Sciences, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

                        Lane 84, Chua Lang Street, Lang Thuong, Dong Da, Hanoi.

4. Workshop format

     - Report presentations and discussions

     - Display of research achievements

Report presenting should not exceed 25 minutes, including discussion.

5. Scientific publication

Full-text articles participating in the conference will be chosen for publication in the Special Issue on Recent Advances in Geological Sciences of the Journal of Earth Sciences after peer-review.
